Peace and Justice: What is it?

Peace is the state of wellbeing with your fellow human beings; it is being able to live in harmony, away from the dangers of malevolence and violence.

Justice is the state of being where human beings arrange themselves in a way to meet the needs and wants of fellow human beings -- and the abolition of suffering or oppression in such a state.

I formed this blog, honestly, to comment on Steve Stinton's blog http://stevesinton.blogspot.com/

Stinton is a brave man who is running in the 6th district, one filled with Establishment-thought upper middle class Republicans who have pretty much voted party line. But I believe that maybe a voice of great hope and dignity can convince these people that the direction we have been going is wrong, that it is ill in every way, that maybe we can give something new a try...

And achieve Peace and Justice.
